Who Is Dalai Lama? - Some Media Lied
Who is Dalai Lama?
I have been always wondering due to recent events that led to recent media buzzes and the anger of majority of Chinese people in and outside China. There is a key figure in the middle of the storm that is Dalai Lama. The views of most people from the West and those from the most Chinese are totally different about Dalai Lama. As a Chinese American who lived in China for more than 20 years and almost 20 years in USA, I believe that I knew more about USA than most ordinary people in China and more about China than most Westerners. However, I still don’t know who real Dalai Lama is after I heard and watched news from both US and China.
To majority of Westerners, Dalai Lama is “The Spiritual Leader of Tibetan”, a Winner of Nobel Peace Prize in 1989. He has the honorary Canadian citizenship in 2006 and the United States Congressional Gold Medal on 17 October 2007. Dalai is head of the Government of Tibet in Exile in Dharamsala, India. American and other westerners believe that Dalai is the most peaceful man in the world.
To most Chinese people, especially those who knew the history of Tibet or lived in Tibet more than 50 years ago, Dalai was the ruler of world’s darkest slavery system. Chinese government said that Dalai was the head of separatists who wanted to separate Tibet from China and was the organizer of the most recent riots and violence in Tibet. Most Chinese believe that Dalai has two faces, a Nobel Peace Laurie and a master of Slave.
Do ordinary Americans and Chinese have different moral standards, or value? I don’t think so. Then, why there is such huge discrepancy between the views of most Westerners and most Chinese people about the same person? With this question in mind, I did my research online with limited resources by searching “Dalai Lama”, ”Tibet”, and “slavery” using search engine Google.com and baidu.com. I categorized them into 5 groups.
1. Websites with No Political Standing (Neutral or at least appears to be neutral);
2. Posts from Grassroots of Majority of Chinese in and outside China.
3. Websites from his Government of Tibet in Exile and its Affiliates;
4. Media from West;
5. Media from China;
Here are the summaries from what I found from total of more than 6 millions related websites.
1. Websites with No Political Standing (Neutral);
Wikipedia introduces Dalai as the Spiritual Leader of Tibetan, a Winner of Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, an honorary Canadian citizenship in 2006, and the winner of the United States Congressional Gold Medal, head of the Government of Tibet in Exile. It mentioned that the Tutor of young Dalai Lama was Heinrich Harrer. By further research, I found that Heinrich Harrer was a Nazi member. Click HERE to know more about Heinrich Harrer. You can click HERE to see the screen shot of the web page. This is unknown probably to a lot of people including most Americans and even most Chinese people. I only found out this while I was doing research on this. You can consider this as a secret about Dalai Lama.

It does mention that Dalai was the Lama of Tibet. But it does not mention that Tibet was slavery system under Dalai’s ruling. However, I do find that there was an article about slavery in old Tibet. 2. Posts from Grass Roots of Chinese in and outside China;
This category comes from blogs from http://baidu.com, the main Chinese search engine. Most of them in Chinese, but some in English or other languages. Most of the Chinese believe that Dalai was the Master of Tibet Slaves, Dalai Lama was, and still is, funded by the CIA to separate Tibet from China. Click following links to read details:

Chinese people believe that the Dalai was and is funded by CIA. Some of the people did know the book written by American Authors Kenneth Conboy and, James Morrison. They believe that US supports Dalai Lama, biggest owner of slave, to against China. They believe this is real the reason that CIA funded Dalai, US gave Congressional Gold Medal, and and US media fabricated news to against China in order to make Dalai looks good.
Most Chinese in and out side China have been very angry about the media reports on most recent Tibet violence. They protested online regarding the untruthful reports of western media. 3. Websites from his Government of Tibet in Exile and its Affiliates;
A lot of sites mentioned Dalai is the his Holiness, reincarnation of his predecessor the 13th Dalai Lama, the Spiritual Leader of Tibetan, a Winner of Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, an honorary Canadian citizenship in 2006, and the winner of the United States Congressional Gold Medal, the head of the Government of Tibet in Exile. It never mentioned that Dalai Lama (14th ) had a slavery system, nor Lama 13th had a slavery system.

4. Media from West;
A lot of western media praised Dalai as his Holiness, reincarnation of his predecessor the 13th Dalai Lama, the Spiritual Leader of Tibetan, a Winner of Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, an honorary Canadian citizenship in 2006, and the winner of the United States Congressional Gold Medal, head of the Government of Tibet in Exile.
CNN, BBC. Washington Post, FOX news, ABC News….
They never mentioned that Dalai Lama was the Master of Slave in Tibet 50 years ago, nor questioned his association with his tutor Heinrich Harrer, a Nazi member.
5. Media from Chinese Government.
They said that the Dalai Lama was involved in the uprising and wanted to separate Tibet from China with intention to bring the slavery system to Tibet as 50 years ago, that Dalai and his followers have used the run-up to the Olympics to foment unrest. Chinese media and government were very angry and strongly against awarding Dalai Lama for the Nobel Peace Prize because they thought Dalai did not deserve it. They said that the human rights of Tibet under the slavery system of Dalai Lama were the worst than anytime in the world. See CCTV. They never mentioned that Dalai Lama was a peaceful man in the world, nor praised him as western media did.
After finishing my research, I have more questions than answers.
Who is the real Dalai Lama?
A Nobel Peace Prize laureate or a Master of Slaves? Why Dalai’s Tutor was Heinrich Harrer, a member of Nazi? How can a Master of Slaves and a student of Nazi member could get his Nobel Peace Prize?
There is information about Dalai’s association with a Nazi member on online (for the screen shot of Wikipedia about this, click HERE), why western media have never mentioned this?
Based on history, Dalai was a Master of Tibet slave. This is verifiable by asking old Tibetan aged 60 years or above. Then, why western media have never mentioned this? Is this because NO journalists knew about this or they just did not want to report it? and Why?
Was Dalai funded by CIA before 1959 (To verify if this is true, you have to go to the Library of Congress for the de-classified documents) ? Is Dalai still funded by CIA now? Did Kenneth Conboy and, James Morrison lie to the world in their book titled “The CIA’s Secret War in Tibet” ?
If indeed Dalai was a student of a Nazi member, how could Dalai get the Nobel Peace Prize, the honorary Canadian citizenship in 2006, and the United States Congressional Gold Medal? What is real reason for this? Are there moral standards acceptable to all human beings?
Why Chinese government and state media said that Dalai was involved in the uprising in recent Tibet violence? Why they said that Dalia wanted to separate Tibet from China with intention to bring the slavery system to Tibet as 50 years ago? Why they blamed Dalai and his followers had used the run-up to the Olympics to foment unrest? Why Chinese media and government were very angry and strongly against awarding Dalai Lama for the Nobel Peace Prize 1989? Why they blamed western media for the double standard of human rights? Why they said that the human rights of Tibet under the slavery system of Dalai Lama 50 year ago were the worst than anytime?
My conclusion after this research is that Dalai Lama is a different person to different people, or different media, or different people with different political views. It is also obvious that some one has been lying about Dalai Lama. Then who has been lying? To me, double standard of media do exist. Then who has the double standard. Which media lied to you?
I think you are all intelligent enough to find out the truth. You people with fairness mind is the judge.
